COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION TWO, Bristol: CLOSE OF PLAY, FINAL DAY: Gloucestershire 400-9dec and 168-2 drew with Glamorgan 350-8dec (Glamorgan 11pts, Glos 11pts) 31 July - 3 August 2009
Kadeer Ali top scored with 67 not out in Gloucestershire's second innings
Opener Kadeer Ali scored his second fifty of the match as Gloucestershire's Division Two clash with Glamorgan ended in a predictable draw in Bristol.
Kadeer followed the 53 he made on Friday with an unbeaten 67 as the home side reached 168-2 before bad light prematurely ended play.
Glamorgan seamers James Harris and David Harrison claimed a wicket apiece.
Gloucestershire's 11 point haul keeps them third, while seventh-placed Glamorgan remain winless in 2009.
Resuming on 19-0 on the final morning, Gloucestershire had no desire to score quick runs in order to set the Welsh side a target to chase, and seemed happy to settle for a draw.
