Wavell Hinds hit an unbeaten 119 to help Derbyshire draw their County Championship clash with Glamorgan.
Derbyshire began the final day at Derby on 142-6 in their second innings, only 132 ahead.
But, despite Robert Croft's 4-62, Hinds shared stands of 64 with Tom Lungley and an unbroken 81 with Tim Groenewald as Derbyshire declared on 294-8.
That left Glamorgan needing 285 to win, but they reached 136-2 when a halt was called, Mark Cosgrove unbeaten on 74.
Michael Powell was with him on 42 not out, the pair having added an unbroken 126 for the third wicket after Graham Wagg had removed Gareth Rees and Ben Wright early on.
Those early wickets effectively ended Glamorgan's hopes of pushing for the win which they were slight favourites to earn at the start of play.
Those hopes were boosted when Croft had Wagg caught by Jamie Dalrymple at slip for his 100th wicket against Derbyshire, becoming the first Glamorgan bowler to achieve that feat against any county since Malcolm Nash in 1980.
And although Lungley became victim 101, Hinds, who completed his first century in first-class cricket for 29 months, could not be beaten, ultimately making the draw the most inevitable result.
