Shrewsbury claimed 15 points from their Birmingham Premier League draw at Kidderminster Victoria after missing out on victory by one wicket. Paul Donaldson hit 43 as Shrewsbury made 211-9 with Mark Mansell taking 4-58 for the hosts before Vics, who claimed eight points, reached 174-9. Wellington suffered a four-wicket loss to Himley despite James Cameron's 43. Wellington made 166, with Cameron's Worcestershire colleague Richard Jones taking 3-41 for Himley. Alex Huxley (44) and his brother Sam (39) were the top scorers for Oswestry in their Division Three victory over Shropshire rivals St Georges. The North Shropshire side narrowed the gap on leaders Barnards Green to two points by racking up 222-7 before bowling out St Georges in the final over for 165, Jonathon Miles took the final wicket after a fine spell of bowling. In the First Division, Shifnal made 257-3 as they secured a winning draw against Attock, who ended on 231-7. Whitchurch maintained their lead at the top of the Second Division with a three-wicket victory over Stratford-on-Avon while Halesowen moved above Bridgnorth with a four-wicket win. In the Shropshire Premier League Reman Services regained top spot after an eight-wicket win over champions Madeley while there were also wins for Quatt, Allscott, Albrighton and Bomere Heath.
