Two-horse race for Northants League top division title

Finedon Dolben and Peterborough will both target the Northants League title when the season reaches its final round of matches on Saturday.

Finedon, the defending champions, hold a narrow three-point lead over Peterborough who are chasing their first success since 1996.

Chris Goode's side entertain Rushden at Avenue Road while their title rivals travel to Wollaston.

Relegated Wellingborough Town sign off away to Stony Stratford.

The promotion battle in Division One has also gone to the final day of the season.

Horton House are 18 points clear of Geddington and will need another 13 from their away match at Old Wellingburians to make certain of top spot, while Geddington must beat Thrapston to keep their hopes alive.
