Defending champions Finedon continued their challenge for Northants League honours with a nine-wicket win at home to Stony Stratford on Saturday. The visitors' 148 all out never looked enough and Finedon passed that score with more than 30 overs to spare. Peterborough stay second after beating the Northants Academy by five wickets. And centuries from Zak Harvey and Alec Swann boosted third-placed Northampton Saints to a 139-run success over Rushden at Birchfield Road East. Elsewhere, Old Northamptonians saw off Brixworth by eight wickets, Rushton had a six-wicket win over bottom club Wellingborough and Wollaston claimed maximum points after crushing Burton Latimer by 132 runs. Horton House regained top spot in Division One courtesy of their six-wicket victory against Thrapston which lifts them a point clear of rivals Geddington.
