Finedon Dolben moved to the top of the Northants League thanks to a nine-run victory over previous leaders Peterborough at Avenue Road. The defending champions totalled 244-9 thanks to Andrew Daniels' vital 114 and then dismissed Peterborough for 235. Centuries from the in-form pair Zak Harvey and Andy Reynoldson helped third-placed Northampton Saints to a winning draw against Wollaston. Old Northamptonians claimed only six points from a draw at Stony Stratford. At the other end of the table, Burton Latimer crushed fellow-strugglers Wellingborough Town by 132 runs and the latter are now five points adrift at the bottom. Rushton secured maximum points from a 74-run win over Brixworth and Jake Higginbotham's unbeaten 100 helped Rushden secure a winning draw against the Northamptonshire Academy. Meanwhile, Horton House have opened up a 22-point lead in Division One after beating second-placed Geddington by four wickets.
