Peel took another step towards retaining the Blincoe Cup on Monday with an emphatic 149-run victory over St John's B. The Westerners ran up a huge total of 225-3, with Daniel Dickinson hitting a superb unbeaten 135 and Alex Williamson adding 56. The Peel attack then dismissed their local rivals for 76 to claim the win. Meanwhile, last years beaten finalists Valkyres also progressed with a 81-run victory against Cronknourne. Elsewhere, Ramsey knocked-out in form Castletown and Crosby beat Union Mills.
