St Just now hold a 13-point lead at the top of the ECB Cornwall Premier League after defeating Werrington by 46 runs. St Just batted first and made 171-9, with 87 from Neil Curnow, before bowling out the visitors for 125. Truro just about kept in touch with the top two following a dramatic last-over win at home to bottom side Callington. Truro were bowled out for 108, but Callington lost their last eight wickets for only 25 runs to be 106 all out and lose by two runs. St Austell drew at home to Falmouth after making 158-5 in a reduced overs game. Falmouth made 145-7 in reply to finish 14 runs short of victory. The Newquay v Paul game was cancelled due to a wet ground.
