St Just's lead in the ECB Cornwall Premier has been cut to a single point following a thrilling draw away at seventh-placed Falmouth. St Just made 194-7 before their hosts fell agonisingly short of the target, finishing on 191-9. Second-placed Werrington took maximum points at Callington, racking up 263-6 before dismissing their hosts for 163. The other games also ended in draws, with St Austell holding on at Newquay and Paul failing to dismiss Truro. Paul made 204-8 in their allotted overs and in reply Truro were 201-7 at the close, just four runs short of a win. Newquay scored 199-8 batting first at home, but were unable to take all 10 wickets as St Austell finished on 159-8.
