St Just are through to the final of the 2009 Vinter Cup after beating Falmouth in the semi-final on Tuesday evening. The game was played in Hayle and proved to be a low scoring affair, with St Just claiming the win by 23 runs. St Just made 111-8, which was held together by a battling 32 from Gary Thomas, as Anthony Angove did the damage, taking 5-18. Falmouth's reply was hampered by the loss of four early wickets to Nick George and they finished on 88-8. St Just will now line-up against local rivals Paul in the final at Camborne on 15 July.
