Lincs hang on to draw with Cambs

Lincolnshire's Minor Counties match against Cambridgeshire at Grantham ended in a draw after dogged resistance in the final session.

Resuming after tea on 60-5 having been set a target of 309, Lincs soon lost Gareth Clough, trapped lbw for four.

Conrad Louth and captain Ollie Burford put on 53 for the seventh wicket before Louth was dismissed for 38.

Despite an injured thumb, Burford (26no) and Brett Houston (13no) steered Lincs to 151-7 at the close of play.

Earlier, Cambridgeshire made 309-5dec in their second innings, with Nick Ferraby 131 not out.
