Georgie Twigg in action for Great Britain against Australia

Lincolnshire hockey player Georgie Twigg has been named in the England Under-21 squad for the Junior World Cup in the United States.

The 18-year-old centre-half told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "It's the biggest tournament I've ever played in.

"We're in a pool with reigning world champions Korea so it will be very hard, but exciting."

Twigg was part of the British squad that won gold at the Youth Olympic Festival in Australia in January.
