Boston United have signed winger Matt Kennedy on non-contract terms.

Kennedy, 20, played for the Pilgrims' neighbours, United Counties League side Boston Town last season, scoring 18 goals in 48 appearances in the process.

He impressed joint bosses Rob Scott and Paul Hurst during a successful pre-season trial spell at York Street.

Hurst told Boston's website: "Matt is a capable player with the right attitude so we are delighted that he has agreed to come on board."
