Lincolnshire's Georgie Twigg has won a gold medal with the Great Britain Under-21 hockey team at the Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney, Australia. The 18-year-old, from Doddington, has already represented England at Under-16 and Under-18 levels. Great Britain beat Australia 3-2 in the final, repeating their success of two years ago. The win came courtesy of a golden goal from Sophie Bray after the game finished 2-2 at full time. Great Britain's other goals came from Susie Gilbert and Harriet Pearce.
