Lincolnshire last won the Minor Counties title in 2003

Rain prevented any play on the opening day of Lincolnshire's four-day Minor Counties Championship Final against Berkshire on Sunday.

Heavy rain left the outfield at the Falkland ground in Newbury unplayable, as the Eastern and Western division champions met for the overall title.

Captain Rob Cook told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "It's frustrating, the ground staff have done a good job but it is very wet.

"We can't control the weather, so we will have to just wait and see."
