Haslam has won the last three races in BSB

Louth-based superbike team HM Plant Honda have committed themselves to the 2009 British Championships.

Speculation had linked the outfit with a return to World Superbikes.

But they have instead decided to remain in BSB and try to reclaim the title which they won in 2006 and 2007 with Japan's Ryuichi Kiyonari.

It is not known if current riders Leon Haslam and Cal Crutchlow, who are third and fourth in this season's standings, will stay with the team next season.
