Cook took over the Lincolnshire captaincy at the start of the season |
Lincolnshire captain Rob Cook says his side are in a confident mood ahead of the Minor Counties Championship final against Berkshire at Newbury. Lincolnshire, who won this season's Eastern division title, last won the championship outright in 2003. Cook told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "It's a big game but we'll just go out and do what we've been doing all season. "Everyone's looking forward to it but we'll just work hard and try and make things happen, and take it from there." The game at Falkland Cricket Club in Newbury, which is scheduled for four days rather than the usual three, begins at 1100 BST on Sunday, 7 September.
