Bracebridge Heath wrap up title

Bracebridge Heath have won their sixth consecutive Lincolnshire Premier League title, despite Saturday's match against Market Deeping being rained off.

The abandonment gave them the four points they needed to secure top spot.

At the foot of the table Haxey and Caistor are guaranteed to finish in the bottom two, as all but one match fell foul of the weather.

In that game Sleaford beat Grimsby by six runs after the visitors lost their last nine wickets for only 35 runs.

There was some consolation for Grimsby on Sunday, as they beat Nettleham by one wicket at Augusta Street in the final of the Winkworth Cup.
