Lincolnshire will face Berkshire for the Minor Counties Championship title after clinching their third Eastern Division title in seven years. A draw against Bedfordshire at Luton guaranteed Lincolnshire the title. Resuming on day three on 32-2 in their first innings Beds were bowled out for 101 and following on ended on 25-1. Captain Rob Cook told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "It's a load off our minds, we are a great team who deserve this. We do the basics well." The county's last two title triumphs were in 2001 and 2003. The final will be played on Sunday, 6 September at Falkland Cricket Club in Newbury.
