Germany posted 174-7 off their 50 overs

Jersey had a convincing nine wicket win over Germany at Port Soif on Friday making it four out of four in the ICC European Division Two Championship.

Germany won the toss and elected to bat first and were in trouble at 12 for 2, but they managed to eke out their 50 overs and post 174 for 7.

Jersey openers Peter Gough, with 80, and Ian Crocker with 60 not out made light work of that in 32 overs.

Peter Gough's performance made him tournament top run-scorer with 180.
