Germany's total of 180-9 proved too much for Croatia

Germany claimed their first points of the ICC European Division Two Championships with a 43-run victory over Croatia at Port Soif on Wednesday.

With both teams looking for their first victory of the tournament, Croatia won the toss and put Germany into bat.

Batsman Hamid Bhatti top scored with 48 as the Germans posted 180-9 off their 50 overs.

The Croats were 93-4 off 30 overs in reply but collapsed to be bowled out for 137 in the 45th over.
