Second-placed Truro were upset at home by bottom side Grampound Road in the ECB Cornwall Premier League. Truro were bowled out for 190 at Boscawen Park as four Grampound bowlers chipped in with two wickets each. In reply Mpho Sekhoto's 95 not out was the highlight for the bottom side, who reached their target with five balls to spare for the loss of eight wickets. Leaders St Just did not have it all their own way either, as they drew with third-from-bottom Werrington. Batting first, St Just were 244-4 from their 55 overs as Darren Cudby hit 87 not out and Gavin Edwards got 45. Darren Johns took three wickets for 40. In reply Werrington held on for a draw, scoring 214-7 off their 55 overs. Ben Smeeth was 71 not out and Matthew Robbins scored 65 as Mark George took three wickets for 63. St Just are now 50 points clear of Truro at the top of the table. Paul moved up to third after a 27-run win over relegation threatened Newquay, while Falmouth drop to fourth after being held to a draw by fifth-placed St Austell.
