Rob Harrison and Chris Hunkin each took three wickets as Cornwall devoured Wales in their second innings at Trescobeas to set up a 160 run win. Matt Robins' 62 not out helped the home side reach 282-6 declared in their first innings before the Cornish bowlers got to work. Hunkin returned with figures of 3-33 and Harrison 3-46 as the final seven Welsh wickets fell for just 62 runs. The victory means Cornwall move up to fourth in the MCCA Western division. Cornwall are now only nine points behind the leaders Cheshire with two games remaining. The Duchy's next game is against third placed Dorset at Bournemouth beginning on Sunday 3 August.
