Truro City manager Sean McCarthy says he is excited at the prospect of facing his former boss Neil Warnock.

Warnock's Crystal Palace take on City in a friendly at Treyew Road on Friday evening, as both sides continue their preparations for the new season.

McCarthy told BBC Radio Cornwall: "I played under Neil Warnock at Oldham many years ago.

"It'll be a good spectacle for the supporters and it should be a good game."
