The Isle of Man shooting team celebrate Tim Kneale's bronze medal on Thursday

Manx shooters Neil Parsons and Dave Walton have finished eighth in the Olympic trap team competition at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Australian marksmen Michael Diamond and Adam Vella shot a new Commonwealth Games record to win gold and claim their third consecutive title.

The pair scored 198 out of 200, with Diamond shooting a perfect score of 100 as they smashed the record by six.

The Manx pair scored 185 with Parsons shooting a personal best of 95.

In Melbourne, Walton with then-partner Trevor Boyles, won a bronze medal with a score of 183.

On Thursday, Tim Kneale won the Isle of Man's second bronze medal of the Games in the individual double trap.
