Kneale was selected ahead of former Olympic Gold Meadalist Richard Faulds |
Manx double trap shooter Tim Kneale has narrowly missed out on the World Championship final by a single target in Munich on Thursday. Representing Great Britain, Kneale shot 143 out of 150 targets, which was only good enough for him to finish 14th. Russian Vasily Mosin topped qualification with a world record equalling 147, a score which Kneale recently achieved in Italy. Kneale was selected ahead of former Olympic Gold medalist Richard Faulds. Fellow Manxman Harry Creevy will represent Team GB in the 300 metre prone rifle event on Thursday. Creevy recently shot scores of 598 and 599 out of 600 at the opening round of the European Cup in Denmark. Both men will represent the Isle of Man at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
