Munroe will defend his European super-bantamweight title on Thursday
Leicester boxer Rendall Munroe is in much better shape than he was for his past two fights, according to his trainer Jason Shinfield.
Munroe flew to Dublin on Tuesday in preparation for the third defence of his European super-bantamweight title.
The 28-year-old bin man will fight Italian champion Fabrizio Trotta on Thursday night.
Shinfield told BBC Radio Leicester: "Preparations for this fight have gone really well, he's looking very sharp."
Shinfield added: "After the Kiko Martinez fight a lot of people tried to advise him in different ways and to be honest he took some of the wrong advice and looked sluggish and slow.
"This time he's gone back to my method and he's looking really sharp - everything's been fantastic."
Munroe's manager Mike Shinfield says Munroe's camp will think about a world title fight after Thursday's defence.
Munroe won the Brian Clough Breakthrough title at the BBC East Midlands Sports Awards in November.
