Rendall Munroe says his career is really beginning to take off |
Leicester boxer Rendall Munroe has set his sights on triple title glory ahead of next month's European super-bantamweight title fight. Munroe, 27, faces holder Kiko Martinez of Spain at Nottingham's Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre on Friday, 7 March.
And Munroe told BBC Radio Leicester it is just a stepping stone: "Things are starting to fly forward for me now.
"By the end of this year my hopes are to be European, British and Commonwealth champion."
Munroe is confident he will brush aside Martinez and take his first steps on the road to his dream treble.

"I'm looking to bring home the European title and want to defend that at the same time as fighting for the British title," he said.
"I don't think from his records that he's met anyone of my match apart from winning the title off Bernarde Dunne."
Munroe hopes the fact he is a fighter with genuine regional appeal across the East Midlands will ensure a vociferous home support.
Next month's 12-round fight is in Nottingham and Munroe splits his training time between his home town of Leicester as well as Nottingham and Alfreton.
"You can never beat home support and hopefully I can fight in Leicester one day but I'm getting home support from everyone right now.
"My career's starting to take off. Rendall '2-Tone' Munroe is coming through and hopefully there'll be more to talk about."
