Matt Skelton's trainer Frank Maloney says his fighter's work-rate and desire will be too much for Danny Williams at the Bolton Arena on Saturday. Skelton will be making the second defence of his British heavyweight title against former champion Williams.
Maloney said: "Danny has better skill. But this fight won't go down to skill - it will go down to the will to win.
"It's impossible to box Skelton because he'll stick to you like a rash. That's something Danny can't live with."
Maloney also questioned Williams' heart and said the Brixton fighter's win over former world champion Mike Tyson last July lacked credibility.
"Danny has always been lacking desire. Even as an amateur Danny seemed to be lacking something," said Maloney.
"And what has he done in professional boxing other than beat domestic opponents?
"When he stood up for the European title (against Sinan Samil Sam in 2003), he got his behind kicked.
"When he fought Vitali Klitschko for the world title he got battered.
"Forget the Tyson fight. Anyone who gets past two rounds will beat Tyson.
"Williams is a shell of the man who went professional and he's now too old to get to the pinnacle."
At 32, Williams is six years younger than Bedford's Skelton but has been a professional boxer for eight years less.
"The whole training programme has been based on Matt working three minutes of every round, " continued Maloney.
"We will eat, drink, sleep and destroy Danny Williams on Saturday night."
