Jamie Moore beat David Walker inside four rounds to retain his British light middleweight title in Manchester. The Salford southpaw had insisted he was in for a tough fight against 'Kid Dynamite', but he dropped Walker twice before referee Paul Thomas stepped in.
Moore initially struggled to get his jab working and sustained a cut after a clash of heads in the second round.
But he gradually found his range and upped the pace as the fight progressed, posing Walker all sorts of problems.
His clubbing left began to prove a potent weapon and he landed three stiff blows that had Walker retreating before the bell ended the second round.

Moore moved up another gear in the third, flooring him with a body shot right at the end.
In the fourth, Walker was caught with a jab then, with just over a minute of the round left, another clubbing hook sent him crashing to the canvas for a second time.
The Sidcup-based fighter was on his haunches before the count, but referee Thomas had seen enough.
After his resounding victory, Moore immediately set his sights on Europe.
"As far as I am concerned, now I am past British level," he said.
"I would like to take the traditional route and win British, Commonwealth, European and then the WBC title, which has always been my dream.
"I have already done the British and Commonwealth so now it would be ideal to go for the European.
"I am not sure what the situation is with the champion (Sergei) Dzindziruk - I have heard he might fight for the WBO so maybe it will become vacant.
"Steve Wood (manager) and Barry Hearn (promoter) will sit down and see where we can go from here.
"But hopefully, before Christmas maybe, I can have a European title shot or fight someone on the fringe of the top 10."
