Walker was ruthlessly exposed by Karmazin |
Sidcup light middleweight David Walker is targeting British champion Jamie Moore. Walker lost to Roman Karmazin in a European title challenge last October but a fourth-round stoppage of Matt Scriven in March got him back on track.
The 27-year-old next fights on the undercard of the British super middleweight title fight between Tony Dodson and Carl Froch on 2 June.
"I know I'm the best in Britain and I can beat Jamie Moore," said Walker.
"Winning the Lonsdale belt has always been my dream. That is one of the reasons I got into boxing. But I will need to continue the form I showed in March to get my opportunity.
"I didn't show that against Karmazin, I wasn't myself that night. Moore's a good little boxer but I have more movement and more power. I will also have more hunger. I want that belt around my waist."
