Nicky Cook is still unbeaten |
Nicky Cook added the British featherweight title to his European and Commonwealth belts by knocking out Dazzo Williams in the second round. A devastating body punch did the damage in front of Cook's home fans in Dagenham as the winner underlined his world-class credentials.
And Williams never looked like getting up again after sinking to his knees, as referee John Keane completed the count.
Cook is now chasing a world title shot with WBO champion Scott Harrison.
"The tactics paid off. I'm ready for a world title fight, and if Scott Harrison wants it, he can have it," said a jubilant Cook.

With Scotland's Harrison currently being lined up for a possible unification fight against WBA and IBF holder Juan Manuel Marquez later this year, that might have to wait.
But Cook insists he is ready, saying: "I should be in with a realistic chance of a world title fight before the end of the year.

Cook, 25, is now unbeaten in 25 fights as a professional.
