Injury forces Cook to cancel bout

Nicky Cook will not defend his European featherweight title against Dazzo Williams next month because of injury.

The 25-year-old Dagenham boxer damaged his shoulder during a car crash and his camp decided he is not fit to fight.

The bout was scheduled for 13 February but will now be reorganised when Cook has returned to full fitness.

The boxer holds a 100% unbeaten record which stretches to 24 fights and he is tipped to have a tilt at a global title later in 2005.
