Terry Bates has won Sarnia Walking Club's Bob Wright Handicap Series after coming seventh in the final race of the season at Osmond Priaulx. The result put Bates onto 91 points for the series, five ahead of second-placed Stuart Le Noury. Dave Dorey finished in third place on 85 points, with Kevin Le Noury and Phil Lockwood fourth and fifth respectively. The one-mile race itself was won by Jayne Le Noury in 11 minutes four second, ahead of Dave Dorey 11.09.
