A combined Channel Islands junior badminton team lost both matches in a round robin tournament at Rohais Halls against two Surrey sides. The islanders lost to Surrey A by 9-3 before suffering an 11-1 defeat against Surrey B. The team's sole victory against Surrey B was gained by the 12-year-old Chloe Le Tissier. In the decider of the round robin, Surrey A took the honours over Surrey B, winning 8-4 to claim victory.
