 Steve Dawes won the Winter Championships for the eighth year |
Guernsey's Steve Dawes won the final race of the FirstRand Cross Country series and claimed an eighth Winter Championship title in the process. Dawes completed the six-mile Delancey Circuit in 32.16 minutes, a minute faster than Seb Foy. Lee Garland finished third, a further 20 seconds behind. Louise Perrio won the ladies race and claimed the championship, with Nikki Neal coming second and Sarah Mercier finishing in third place. More than 70 runners ran in the fifth and final race of the 2010 championship.
