Lee Merrien returned to action with a win in the third race of the Guernsey Island Amateur Athletic Club Cross Country Series. Merrien finished the six mile course in a time of 31.34 minutes, ahead of Steve Dawes [32.10] and Ronan Shally [34.62]. The first woman to cross the line was Louise Perrio, who came home in a time of 36.15 minutes. In the under-17 4-mile section, Luke Bisson won in a time of 24.228, ahead of Finlay Wright and Marcus Heaume.
