Norris missed out on a hat-trick in 2009, when he finished third

Harrow Athletics Club's Peter Norris repeated his triumphs of 2007 and 2008 to win the Jersey half marathon.

He finished ahead of the field of almost 300 in one hour 14 minutes and 29 seconds, 44 seconds ahead of Guernsey's Ronan Shally.

Triathlete Nick Saunders finished third in 1:16.17.

Jersey's Claire Forbes won the ladies' race in 1:27.05 to add to her Jersey full marathon and triathlon titles, with Katy Thompson second in 1:27.12.
