Jersey's best attempt to penetrate Westcombe's line in the first half |
Jersey had to rely on a second-half burst of four tries before overcoming Westcombe Park at St Peter. Trailing 6-3 at the break, Jersey stormed back with scores from Nick Trower, Toby Clyde-Smith, Dai Maddocks and Ed Dawson. Mike le Bourgois and Andrew Henderson missed the second half, while a neck injury saw David Felton go to hospital. But it is now six wins from six at home for Jersey, who stay a point adrift of leaders Ealing, who won at Worthing. Jersey next travel to seventh-placed Southend, who were beaten 36-11 at Henley.
