At just 20 years old, Jelena Dokic has already picked up five WTA titles and was a top-10 regular last season.
This year though, she has rather lost her way and has been the victim of a number of surprising upsets.
Her loss to Slovenian Tina Pisnik in the second round of the French Open added insult to injury as she slipped out of the top five.
But the troubled youngster, who now travels without her controversial father, has fond memories of Wimbledon and will hope this can spark her to better success on the grass courts at SW19.
In 1999, she burst onto the tennis scene with a stunning first round defeat of world number one and top seed Martina Hingis before reaching the quarter-finals.
A year later, she went one better by making it to the semis before losing to finalist Lindsay Davenport and for the last two years she has reached the fourth round.
