Greg Rusedski's career in pictures
Greg Rusedski
Born in 1973 in Montreal to a British mother and a Canadian father, Rusedski turned professional in 1991.

His ferocious left-handed serve marked him out as a possible star of the future and by the end of his third season on tour, he had soared into the world's top 50 and captured his first ATP title.

In 1993, he made his Wimbledon debut, losing a tight four-setter against Stefan Edberg. The match between a little-known Canadian and the twice former champion was played on Court Two and created barely a ripple of interest. Two years later, Rusedski would return to SW19 under the glare of the media spotlight...
