Head coach: Bryan Redpath Captain: Mike Tindall/Gareth Delve Ground: Kingsholm (16,500 capacity) Last season: GP - 6th HC - Group stages England elite squad players: 2 (Morgan, Tindall) A new dawn beckons at Kingsholm with Bryan Redpath, assistant coach for the past three years, replacing Dean Ryan as the head honcho following last season's failings domestically and in Europe. Ryan's exit followed a mini player exodus with Anthony Allen, Iain Balshaw, Olly Barkley and Gareth Cooper among those heading to pastures new. But with Nicky Robinson and Tom Voyce among the arrivals, optimism is again high ahead of a new season which begins with a West Country derby against Bath. "The challenge is great for everyone and for the players it is an exciting time. It is a fresh start for a lot of the players at the club, it has helped to bring in a few new players. The fans want commitment, passion and loyalty and to get that back is about giving a bit of courage for Gloucester. If we do that then we will put ourselves in a position to be competitive."
