Head coach: Neil Back Captain: Marco Wentzel Ground: Headingley (22,000 capacity) Last season: GP - (Promoted) HC - N/A England elite squad players: 0 On their first season back in the top flight, Leeds' primary goal will be to ensure they do not go straight back down, as they did on their last appearance in the Premiership two years ago. They begin with a winnable home fixture against Newcastle and their Headingley form will be crucial in deciding whether they are equipped to stay up. The signing of lock Marco Wentzel, who will captain the side, is something of a coup, while scrum-half Andy Gomarsall and cross-code centre Henry Paul will add some experience in key positions. "We will have to manage defeat this year; that is just a part of elite sport. Last year the onus was on us to win but this is a different chaalenge, but that doesn't mean we will be easy to beat. The squad have belief in the way we will play the game and have the belief that they are physical enough to compete." Head coach Neil Back
