The Northampton prop returned from a rib injury to make his first Six Nations start of the season and added much-needed bite to the Scottish scrum. The 28-year-old took the fight to a tough Italian front three and offered a nuggety presence in the loose. With Phil Vickery blotting his copybook in Dublin, Murray comes into the Lions reckoning alongside Ireland's John Hayes and Adam Jones of Wales.
