Six Nations player watch - Mike Phillips
Mike Phillips
Mike Phillips is often compared to the great Wales scrum-half Terry Holmes, both because of his size and his style of play.

But his move to the Ospreys this year has seen a dip in form and he has often played second fiddle to former All Black Justin Marshall.

In front of watching Wales coach Warren Gatland at Leinster on Saturday night, Phillips was laboured in his distribution, hesitant in his decision-making and got sin-binned to boot - although the decision looked harsh.

Our verdict: OFF THE BOIL
