Snowboarder Nate Kern doesn't do thing by halves. In 2006 he became the first to land a 1080 at the Brits but then injury kept him out of the next two events. He was back with a bang this year and trailblazing again by succeeding to become the first to land a 1260 at the Brits, winning the big air title into the bargain. The 26-year-old said: "I wasn't thinking about setting a new record. I just wanted to step it up a level, to keep progressing the sport."
