Jeremy Sladen was one of the original organisers of the Brits back in 1989.

He told BBC Sport: "A few of us who were snowboarding at the time decided to put on a competition.

"There was a slalom, giant slalom and a big air - in the loosest sense of the word!"

Sladen went on to form The Snowboard Asylum chain of shops and his company also sponsors a number of riders including Dom Harington and Laura Berry.
