The British Snowboard and Freeski Championships have celebrated their 20th birthday with a mixture of top performances and fun.

Hundreds of snowboarders and skiers competed in four disciplines - half-pipe, big air, slopestyle and boarder/skier-cross at the Swiss resort of Laax.

The Brits have come a long way since the first championships were held at Sheffield Ski Village in 1989, when there was less than 30 riders.

The competitors at this year's championships ranged from Winter Olympians to novice youngsters.
