Freestyle skiing only became part of the Brits in 2003 but the rise in standard has been amazing. James Woods, 17, (pictured) clinched the 2009 Animal British slopestyle title with a faultless run in a tight contest with fellow teenager Jamie Webb. Woods said: "The competition was pretty intense and such a high level of riding from everyone." In the women's competition, Katie Summerhayes triumphed and she and Woods also won the freeski big air titles. The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites |
