Alexandre is a member of the Jersey Muzzle Loaders

Jersey shooter Mike Alexandre has been crowned the British Long Range Rifles 900-yard champion.

Alexandre was in exceptional form at the Stickledown range in Bisley to win by scoring 53 with one V bull.

Second place went to Dorset's Paul Wolpe who also scored 53 points but had no V bull.

Alexandre's Jersey team-mate Gareth Callan said: "Mike really deserves this - it builds on his fourth place at last year's World Championships."
